Step 1. Checklist for Getting Started
Our Checklist for Getting Started will provide you with an overview of everything you’ll need to do as well as all the documents you’ll need to create your account.
Step 2. Configure your company’s settings
Our guide on Your Company Settings will go through all of the relevant options available to you once you’ve opened the account. Here, you’ll be able to enter your company’s details, set your pay frequency, and create your custom benefits and deductions.
Step 3. Transition from your previous payroll provider
The article for Changing payroll providers will guide you through all of the steps to easily transition to PaymentEvolution.
Step 4. Add your employees
Once you’ve configured your company settings, you can move on to adding your first employee. Our guide on adding employees will take you through this process step-by-step. To make this even easier, be sure to download our New Employee form at the end of the Checklist for Getting Started. You will be able to use that to gather all the necessary information from your employees in preparation for adding them to your account.
Step 5. Integrate with your accounting program
After you’ve added your employees, you can then integrate your PaymentEvolution account with your accounting or timekeeping program. Please see our guide on Accounting Add-Ons.
Step 6. Run Payroll
Once you’ve completed all of the steps above, you’re ready to run your first pay run in PaymentEvolution. Before you begin, please visit our pay run guide to ensure a quick and seamless first pay run.
