4. Viewing & Editing Time History

Tap any entry to edit:
Correct clock-in or clock-out times, e.g. if you forgot to clock out.

After making changes:

Confirm with Yes, Submit
Note that once your employer has run payroll, the time records for that time period will be locked and will be no longer editable.
5. Adjusting Today’s Clock-In While Timer Is Running
With the timer active, open the Adjust Clock-In option.
Set the correct start time (e.g., change 9:29 AM → 9:00 AM).
The running timer will update immediately.
6. Stopping the Timer
Return to the main Timer screen.
Tap the Stop ⏹️ button to clock out.
You can start/stop the timer multiple times in a day, the main timer screen and daily Time History records will always show the total recorded hours for each day.
7. Overnight Records/Auto-stop
If you work past midnight (for example you start a shift at 10:00pm and work until 6:00am the next day), this will be recorded as two separate records:
10:00pm - 11.59PM on the first day, and
12:00am - 6:00am on the second day.
This is to ensure overtime is correctly calculated for holidays or days where overtime is payable.
If you forgot to clock out after starting the timer, Chequer will automatically stop the timer after 24 hours. If this happens, you will want to delete the time record for the second day (would have a 12:00AM start time) and manually enter the correct clock-out time for the previous day.
That’s It!
With the Chequer app you can:
Start/stop the timer, and record multiple work periods for the same day
Fix missed punch-in / punch-outs
Edit past time records (up to the day your employer runs payroll)
Switch companies, if both employers use PaymentEvolution payroll
Access your time history and quick start guide
